These ‘Automated Directors’ are based on the Mk II Design, with improved computational and radio systems enabling them to distribute orders to other automated units over a wider radius. The advantages of fully automated platoons are numerous; the avoidance of British human casualties and immunity to ever more deleterious psychological effects on the battlefields amongst them.
