Rather than become just another unfortunate victim of phasing experimentation, Kimura miraculously survived, but would become something far beyond human.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eKimura had been thrown into Shinobi space, far from human perception, infused with energies that resonated with the place in which he found himself. Though he yearned for death, it would not come, having seemingly developed an imperviousness to physical harm. He also found he had developed the ability to partially manipulate the energies within him, such as to project it with force, or create and control energy constructs.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOver the first half of 1947, Kimura would train with Iwo Jima-based philosopher-scientists to gain mastery of his new abilities.
