Lore & Background

The Infernal Cohort are the anvil upon which Hashut’s empire is built. Once mortal soldiers and craftsmen, they have been remade in the image of their god — their hearts hardened by years of servitude, their souls seared by the flame of faith.

Each warrior fights not for glory but for obedience. They march under banners of ash and iron, driven ever onward by the hollow toll of the war gong carried by a wretched Hobgrot slave. When commanded by a Daemonsmith or War Despot, their fury becomes a living wall of steel and flame, driving forward until nothing remains but cinders.
