The Hawker Typhoon was a high-speed low to medium altitude interceptor. It was rushed into service in 1941 but suffered critical flaws which were only rectified after several pilot fatalities. The Typhoon found its calling as a highly successful fighter bomber supplementing its quad 20mm cannon with underwing bombs or rockets. These models can be assembled with either bomb or rocket armaments.
